His Richardson-style sofa has been a cozy centerpiece in many American living rooms for decades.
Time, however, has most likely taken its toll on the once taut, woven rubber webbing suspension beneath the seat cushions.
And although Webb’s eco-conscious drop-in deck design allowed for easy replacement, the doors to his workshop closed nearly two decades ago.
